At the Academy we are going to learn about and work on...
Making the most out of social media - both for yourself and your JCI chamber. This will be helpful when looking for a job, getting new members and creating a stronger network.
Taking branding local - creating an individual brand and profile for your chamber to strengthen your identity, your purpose and potential membership. We'll learn how other JCI chambers are doing it and see how we can make the most of the JCI global branding guidelines.
Personal branding - Do you have a personal leadership brand? Do you know how to assert your brand online?

JCI is the best thing in the world, but how did you hear about JCI? At a random bus stop? From a friend who just happened to mention it?
This is your chance to help develop a marketing strategy for a national organisation (which not only is fun, but looks great on your CV!)
The programme - The Academy starts with a social event on Friday the 1st of April, with full day courses both on Saturday and Sunday. The formal program starts 9am Saturday morning and we aim to end by 3pm Sunday afternoon.
Who can come? - The academy is targeted at current and future local leaders within JCI.
Non-JCI members can attend paying a slightly higher fee.
Registration - Early bird ends 20th March.
Practicalities
The hotel - Ardsley House Hotel is a reasonable quality hotel 5 minutes from Barnsley train station. The hotel has a spa, gym and pool. JCI Barnsley has negotiated a very good rate for us at £25 per person per night in twin room. Please call the hotel to book
Barnsley - Barnsley is easily accessible with train from all major UK cities. Train from London takes approximately 2 hours.
Who can come? The academy is open to all JCI members interested in learning about how to market ourselves and our organisation.
What does my fee cover? The fee covers lunch both days and all training sessions. Dinners on Friday and Saturday nights are not included.
